Today in American history…Margaret Mitchell’s Gone With the Wind was first published on June 30, 1936. Gone with the Wind is one of the best-selling novels of all time and Margaret Mitchell won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1937 for her work.

This is my all-time favourite book. I know that things in it are objectionable by today’s standards, but it was written nearly 90 years ago.
